What we collect directly
Very little. If you email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the correction. We do not add you to any list, because we do not run one.
What this site collects, what it does not, and what happens when you click an affiliate link.
saintmarksbasilicatickets.com is a guide, not a shop. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no checkout, so there is very little to collect and we collect very little. The two things worth knowing are that our host keeps standard server logs, and that clicking through to a booking partner hands you over to their cookies and their privacy policy, not ours. Anything you want deleted, or any question about the below, goes to info@saintmarksbasilicatickets.com.

Our hosting keeps standard web-server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent. These exist for security and troubleshooting and are retained on a short rolling basis. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
This site does not require cookies to function. Any set by us are limited to remembering basic display preferences; nothing here tracks you across other websites.
If analytics are in use on this site, they are configured to measure page traffic in aggregate. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising networks on this site, and we do not share visitor data with advertisers.
This is the part most privacy policies bury, so it is worth stating plainly. When you click a ticket or tour link on this site you leave us and arrive on GetYourGuide. At that point GetYourGuide may set cookies or similar identifiers in order to attribute the booking to us and to run their own site. That processing is theirs and is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. We never receive your name, your email address, your payment details or any other personal information about your booking — only aggregate reporting on how many bookings came from our links.
Aggregate, anonymised commission reporting. No names, no contact details, no payment data.
Whatever their own site collects once you arrive there, under their privacy policy.
Do not click through. Nothing on this site is gated behind an affiliate link, and the official ticketing channel is named on our Disclaimer page.
Fonts and images may be served from third-party content networks, which receive your IP address as a normal part of delivering them.
If you are in the UK or the EEA, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. Given how little we hold, in practice this almost always means an email exchange you want removed. Ask and it will be removed.
Email info@saintmarksbasilicatickets.com with what you want. We do not require a specific form and we do not charge for it.
Legitimate interests — running and securing a website, and answering people who write to us. We do not rely on consent for anything, because we do not ask you for anything.
Email correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful, and deleted on request. Server logs rotate on a short cycle.
This site is aimed at adults planning a visit. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
